Happy Holidays!

All of us here in the MEC blogosphere want to wish all of you a very happy holiday, and all the best for the New Year.

We’ve had a wonderful year writing about our favourite places, spiders, cobwebs and skunk attacks, blade runners, signs and snowshoes; we’ve watched some awesome and quirky videos; and we even fooled a few of you into thinking we’d made fabric out of molted snake skin (sustainably harvested of course). We wrote about a lot of other stuff too, and it’s all been a lot of fun.

Now we are taking a break for the holidays so we can get outside and play, recharge our creative batteries, and get inspired for a new year of blog posts to keep you entertained, informed and inspired.

See you next year!

About Michelle

Like many Canadians, I didn’t start out here – I arrived when I was a toddler. Then I grew up in northern Alberta where the travel bug kept whispering in my ear that I needed to explore the world around me. So I did. And eventually I ended up in Vancouver where I have lived for the last eleven years, ten of which I have spent at MEC where I am an Editor in the Communications and Marketing department. You can usually find me on the water in a rowing scull year round, a kayak, or pretty much anything else that floats; and if I’m not there, then I’m probably out riding my bike, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or just playing somewhere in the great outdoors.
